Presentation Overview:
In today’s fast-paced environment with consumer demands changing based on a tweet and product availability changing based on a snowstorm, additional flexibility and agility in your supply chain is more important than ever. Network optimization exercises that are only done once every 2 or 3 years leave business exposed, unable to respond to ever-changing consumer demands, and can miss critical cost savings measures.

Leveraging analytics, the experts at HAVI Global Solutions (HGS) developed an innovative approach to network optimization that meets critical business needs by managing project costs and risks for customers while guaranteeing best in class results.

By starting with the premise that network optimization is best achieved by utilizing a continuous ongoing risk management and optimization strategy, customers realize considerable savings to the organization, along with improved responsiveness to consumer demands and increased speed-to-market. HGS designs the recommendations and/or changes to ensure minimal risk to implementation and actively partners with customers by sharing risks and benefits with customers.

At this ALN Leadership Breakfast, HGS will discuss their unique approach for applying analytics to Supply Chain Network Design paired with Network Utilization (effective asset management), an approach that allows customers to minimize risk across the supply chain.

By reviewing customer case studies in the food service industry, this session will illustrate how this analytics approach solves common customer challenges like:
• High initial cost of identifying and implementing changes to network
• Dynamic nature of business, where the solution is outdated shortly after implementation

In addition, our presenters will share their story for making analytics relevant to HAVI Global Solutions as well as their customers by discussing:
• The evolution of HGS’ analytics capabilities including the core competencies and organization model behind their success
• Their approach for effectively using fact-based analytics to influence leadership’s decision making
